Our Story

What began as a humble side item at Wrap City Sandwich Company has grown into a thriving, independent brand producing millions of pounds of potato chips every year. It’s a journey rooted in passion, quality, and a commitment to doing things the right way—one chip at a time.

  • Early Beginnings

Wrap City Chips began as a simple side dish in the back room of the first Wrap City Sandwich Company store in Londonderry, NH, in 2015. Initially, the chips were hand-sliced using a manual slicer and fried in a small countertop fryolator. Customers quickly fell in love with the homemade kettle chips, demanding more of their unique salty-sweet flavor. What started as an accompaniment to wraps and sandwiches soon took on a life of its own.
  • Scaling Production

By 2020, Wrap City Chips had outgrown its humble beginnings. The company leased a 2,000-square-foot space in Derry, NH, equipped with two large batch fryers and entry-level packaging equipment. This expansion allowed the chips to reach specialty grocers and butcher shops across New Hampshire. However, the demand continued to outpace production capacity.
  • Taking a Bold Leap

To meet growing consumer interest, Wrap City Chips made a bold leap into a 26,000-square-foot facility with industrial cooking capabilities. Today, the company produces over 100,000 pounds of Russet potatoes weekly, ensuring that their signature chips can be enjoyed by snack lovers far and wide.
